Mr. Salt has resided in Colorado Springs since 1969 when his military-based family relocated to Colorado Springs. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received his law degree from Pepperdine Law School. Prior to law school, Pat taught and coached at local high schools.

For the past 33 years, Pat has been an active attorney, trying cases in various counties throughout Colorado. He is also privileged to serve as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Colorado Springs. Mr. Salt has represented the El Paso County Bar Association as a Trustee and been elected to the Board of Governors to the Colorado Bar Association.

Outside of the legal realm, Pat enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sporting activities, particularly golf. Pat has been a youth basketball coach as well as Cub Scout leader, he is an Eagle Scout. The Salt family has a passion for giving back to the community. Pat’s wife formerly served as the CEO of Easter Seals of Southern Colorado and Pat’s father was an El Paso County Commissioner for six years.

Recently, Mr. Salt has been acknowledged by his peers as a “Top Lawyer” for 2015 in the Colorado Springs Style Magazine. His legal expertise has led him to be rated by Martindale Hubbell, through evaluations of lawyers and members of the U.S and Canadian bar and judiciary, as an A+ attorney for his high ethical standards and professional ability. Pat has received a similar rating for his work as a Judge.
